Wireframe: A basic layout without any elements of design.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Comps: Once the design goes digital, this word is used as the next step<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Prototype: The step where the final idea of design which gives the outlook of the working product is shown<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bleed: If a design is done in such a way where there are no margins and the design flows across the edges<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Grid: Helps in the alignment of the design<\/p>\n\n\n\n
White Space: The empty space around the design to project the other design elements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Gradient: The transition from opaque to transparent or from one color to another<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Padding: The space between the border and the object inside the border<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Margin: The space between the border and the object outside it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Below the fold: The area that the user has to scroll to see the rest of the page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Responsive: An adjustable site that adjusts according to the viewing device<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Resolution: The number of dots per inch<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Web Colors: Colors used on the web that are represented by a code.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Web Safe fonts: Fonts that most of the sites have like Arial, Georgia and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
JPEG: Image Format<\/p>\n\n\n\n
GIF: Animated or static image format<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PSD: An Adobe Photoshop file format<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PDF: A document format that can be sent for printing<\/p>\n\n\n\n
